    When to leave? The Mediterranean-type climate of Malta offers mild, bright and sunny winters with temperatures around 15°C, and hot and dry summers, cooled by the sea breeze, where temperatures can reach 40°C in the high season, with rainfall between November and February, but quite sporadically. The inter-season is very pleasant, with mild temperatures and strong sunshine, as well as warm water allowing swimming from April to October.
